Happy New Year Everyone:
I hope that 2024 is off to a great start. And I hope that this is a happy, safe and prosperous year for us all.
On January 2 it was an honor to join our esteemed Congressman Hank Johnson at the DeKalb Fire and Rescue Headquarters for a gift donation ceremony that was sponsored by the Atlanta Taiwanese Chamber of Commerce. This wonderful group which promotes business growth and development in the Taiwanese Community took the time to express their gratitude to DeKalb public safety personnel. In addition to presenting gifts to the leadership team, they also delivered two pallets of an assortment of delectable items for our public safety employees. This was indeed a very kind gesture. I would like to thank Atlanta Taiwanese Chamber President Maggie Chang and the entire Board of Directors for their thoughtfulness. It is much appreciated.
That evening it was a great honor to join my friends in Lithonia for the swearing-in ceremony for Mayor Shameka Reynolds and City Council Members Vanneriah Wynn and Darold Honore. It was a wonderful ceremony and Mayor Reynolds delivered some very inspiring remarks. I look forward to returning to the great City of Lithonia sometime soon.

As always, I will conclude my remarks by thanking the citizens of District 4 and DeKalb County for affording me this opportunity to serve. It is indeed an honor.
