Closing Comments from the 1.25.22 BOC Meeting

Good Afternoon Everyone:

Today I will begin my comments by once again thanking Pastor Orea Parker and all my friends at St. Paul AME Church in Stone Mountain for affording me the opportunity to record a video message for their virtual MLK DAY program on January 17. It was indeed an honor to do so, and I look forward to worshipping with you all in-person again one day soon.

On January 22 we held our first Quarterly in the Fourth Community Breakfast Meeting of 2022. Once again this was a virtual meeting. And as I said on Saturday I certainly miss being able to meet and fellowship in-person.

I want to thank all the DeKalb County Departments who participated in the program. As always, I am grateful of their support of our efforts. Additionally, I would like to thank Dr. Raulnina Uzzle from MedCura Health for providing the community with a COVID update. The meeting was well attended and as usual we answered a number of questions from our constituents on a variety of issues.

I would also like to thank my BOC colleagues Commissioner Lorraine Cochran Johnson and Commissioner Ted Terry for joining us as well. I certainly do appreciate their support. And I look forward to our next community meeting in April.

If you need any information or assistance, you may call my office at 404-371-4749 or visit my website at commissionerbradshaw.com. Finally, l will close today by once again, thanking the citizens of District 4 and DeKalb County for affording me this opportunity to serve. It is indeed, an honor.
